The Big Book Box is a curated box for book lovers. It comes with books and pieces of merchandise tied together with a new theme every month. The books are always international new releases picked by the curator. It was started in 2017 by two friends from a one-room apartment and currently has its Headquarters in Delhi.
It is a Govt. of India recognized startup that caters to book lovers and fans around the country. Our business collaborations are with all the leading publishers in the world – Penguin Random House, Harper Collins, Pan Macmillan, Bloomsbury and Simon & Schuster among others.
Since 2021, we also have a collection of merchandise, a premium line of classics and fandom-specific boxes launched occasionally.

How to get a past box that I liked but bookings are over?
We have some leftover past boxes listed on our garage sale. These might be boxes whose books are to be sourced but merchandises are available. You can check any such boxes on fanbox.thebigbookbox.com. Please note that there is a possibility that one or two items in such boxes are no longer available. In such a situation, you are given store credit for the value of that product.
How to stay updated with your new launches and upcoming releases?
All Big Book Box products are announced on our Instagram before release. We share updates, behind-the-scenes and other day-to-day things with you through our community page. Join us there to stay updated.
There are four different plans of each box type (Espresso, Cafe Mocha, Breve Box) that you can buy.
There is a one-month subscription which gets you a big book box for one month.
There is a quarterly subscription which gets you one box every month for three months.
There is a six-month plan which gets you one box every month for six months. You have the option to skip one box if you do not like the books in some months and would want to opt out of receiving them.
We also have a Yearly plan which gets you one box every month for twelve months. You have the option to skip two boxes if you do not like the books in some months and would want to opt out of receiving them.
Which option to pick as a first-time buyer?
We always advise starting with one box plan, as that gives you an idea of whether our boxes and books are to your liking. It is not a commitment when you start with a one month only.
Does money for the next box get automaticlly deducted when I buy a one month?
We do not auto renew your subscription ever. The decision is yours and resubscribing is entirely manual .
What if i want to gift a box to someone and need it immediately?
We suggest you contact the support team in such needs before placing an order. They will be able to best help with a ready to ship out option for immediate delivery. Do not make a purchase under the assumption that the product would ship immediately.
How long does the box take to reach once shipped?
Ideally, it takes 5-7 days for the boxes to reach you in Tier 1 and 2 cities. and approx 7-10 days in a few tier 3 cities and beyond.
